About Villa Bellissima

Villa Bellissima is a self-catering villa on the west coast of Ibiza, in the Sant Antoni de Portmany area. It suits travellers who want a private base with a pool, a garden and a full kitchen, away from the busiest resort strips but close enough to reach the town and the sunset shore easily. The property is not rated with stars and has no guest score listed; the facilities are designed for independent stays rather than a hotel service.

The villa is set on Carrer De Saragossa, a residential street about 2 km from the centre of Sant Antoni. The bay faces due west, so evenings here are about the light and the sea. The accommodation is a whole villa with outdoor space, a private pool and parking, which makes it a good choice for families or groups who prefer to cook and eat at home rather than eat out every night.

Location: Sant Josep de sa Talaia

Sant Antoni de Portmany is a town on a wide west-facing bay. Its north shore is known as the sunset strip, a line of bars and restaurants that look out to the sea. The town has a long promenade, a small harbour and a pedestrianised centre with shops, supermarkets and a weekly market. Villa Bellissima is 2.1 km straight line from the centre, which is a short drive or a walk of about 25 minutes on flat roads. Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta, two coves set in a pine-covered valley, are 5 km straight line to the north.

In July and August the area is busy, with crowds at the sunset strip and traffic on the main roads. The villa's residential street and private pool offer a quieter alternative to the seafront. In the shoulder months of May, June, September and October the pace slows, the water is warm enough to swim and the coves are less crowded. Outside the summer season many beach bars and seasonal restaurants close, but Sant Antoni town stays open year-round.

Rooms and facilities

Villa Bellissima is listed as a villa or apartment, not a hotel with separate rooms. The facilities include a kitchen or kitchenette with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, refrigerator and coffee maker, plus a washing machine and an iron and board. There is air conditioning, free wifi, a TV, a DVD and CD player and an iPod dock. The property has a balcony, a terrace, a patio and a garden, and an outdoor pool is listed. Pets are allowed, and a cot and high chair are available.

The accommodation is a single unit, so it suits a family or a group travelling together. There is a bath and a bidet, toiletries and a hairdryer, and a safe for valuables. A smoke detector is listed. Guests who arrive late should confirm with the property how to access the villa and whether the kitchen is stocked with basic supplies. The listed facilities do not mention a reception desk or on-site staff, so it is best to check arrival procedures in advance.

Getting there
