A guide to three islands, by IMPT

imptbalearic.es is run by IMPT Travel and belongs to the IMPT family of travel sites. IMPT is a hotel booking platform built around one idea: every booking funds one tonne of verified CO₂ offset, retired against a registered climate project, at no extra cost to the guest. A local IMPT partner looks after this Balearic Islands edition.

The site treats Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera as three separate destinations, because that is how they are travelled. Each island has its own municipalities and areas, things to do, practical guides and blog. Mallorca and Cabrera are not covered.

The guide31 areas in 13 municipalities, 39 things to do, 24 practical guides and 26 blog posts across the three islands.
The hotels1,980 hotels from the IMPT hotel database, each placed in its municipality and area by its own map coordinates, five-star first.
The visa sectionA Spain visa page for each of 198 nationalities, based on the EU list of who needs a visa for the Schengen area.

How bookings work

Every search box and every Find a stay button on the site opens the IMPT booking app with your island, dates and guests already filled in. The app shows live rates and availability from IMPT's hotel suppliers. You choose the room, pay and get your confirmation there; changes and cancellations follow the terms shown in the app for that rate.

The guide pages never show prices. A rate depends on the dates, the number of guests and what the hotel has left, so the only reliable price is the one the app shows when you search. The tonne of CO₂ offset is funded from the booking itself and is reported against your trip.

Contact

The quickest way to reach the team is WhatsApp +353 83 482 0583. Questions about a stay, an island or a booking are welcome, and so are corrections: tell us the page and what is wrong, and we will check it against the source and fix it. How we write and check the guide is set out in our editorial policy.

Hotel owners on the islands can list their property with IMPT. Travellers can create an IMPT account to keep bookings and offsets in one place.

FAQ

About the site: questions

Who runs imptbalearic.es?

IMPT Travel runs the site as part of IMPT, the hotel booking platform that funds one tonne of verified CO₂ offset with every booking. A local IMPT partner looks after the Balearic Islands edition.

Is imptbalearic.es a travel agency or a hotel?

Neither. It is an independent guide to Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera. Rooms are booked through the IMPT booking platform, which shows live rates from its hotel suppliers.

Where do I pay for a hotel I find on this site?

In the IMPT booking app. The search on this site opens the IMPT results for your island and dates; you choose the room, pay and receive the confirmation there.

Why are there no hotel prices on the guide pages?

Rates change with dates, occupancy and availability. Rather than print a figure that would soon be wrong, the site sends you to the live rate in the IMPT app for the exact dates you pick.

Does booking through IMPT cost more because of the carbon offset?

No. The tonne of verified CO₂ offset is funded by IMPT from the booking; nothing is added to the rate you see for carbon.

How can I contact the team behind the site?

By WhatsApp on +353 83 482 0583. Tell us which page you are on and what you need, whether it is a question about a stay or a correction to the guide.

Can hotels on the islands list their property with IMPT?

Yes. Hotel owners can join IMPT through the List your hotel link in the footer of every page, which opens the IMPT partner sign-up.

Is the site available in Spanish or Catalan?

Not yet. The guide is written in British English for now; place names keep their Catalan spelling, such as Eivissa, Maó and Sant Francesc Xavier.
