The nearest beach is Cala en Blanes, a small sandy cove with a few amenities, walkable from the villa. Further afield, Cala Turqueta, about 11.9 km away, is a white-sand cove with pine trees, best visited early in summer. You can buy cheese and local produce in Ciutadella or at the weekly market. The Camí de Cavalls, the 185-km coastal path, passes near the area; you can walk short sections from Cala en Blanes or drive to a nearby stage.

A day from Villa Orca

Start the morning at Villa Orca with breakfast on the terrace, then drive 3.4 km into Ciutadella to see the old town, the cathedral and the port. Walk through the narrow streets and visit the market if it is on. From Ciutadella, drive 7.7 km to the Naveta des Tudons, the prehistoric tomb, for a short stop. By late morning, head to Cala Turqueta, 11.9 km away, for a swim before the crowds arrive.

For lunch, drive back towards Ciutadella or stop at a beach bar near Cala Turqueta. In the afternoon, return to the villa for a swim in the pool. Later, drive back to Ciutadella for an evening walk along the port, watching the sunset. Dinner can be at a restaurant in the old town or a takeaway brought back to the villa.
